CARAMELIZED LAMB CHOPS

The following is an excerpt from the book Grill! by Pippa Cuthbert & Lindsay Cameron Wilson.
Grilling meltingly tender, marinated lamb chops is one of life's simple pleasures.
1 cup (20g) cilantro, roughly chopped
6 Tbsp brown sugar
4 Tbsp dark soy sauce
4 Tbsp mirin, Chinese rice wine or sherry
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
16 single-rib lamb chops
To serve: Grilled potatoes, green salad or steamed green beans
Combine the cilantro, brown sugar, soy sauce, mirin and garlic in a shallow baking dish. Add the chops, turning well to coat in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for up to 24 hours.
Preheat the grill or grill pan to very hot. Brush with oil. Grill the chops to taste (4-6 minutes on each side for medium) until the edges are browned and caramelized. Transfer the chops to a platter and allow to rest for 2-3 minutes before serving with grilled potatoes and a green salad or steamed green beans.
Serves 4.

Make you feel my Love

When the rain is blowing in your face,
And the whole world is on your case,
I could offer you a warm embrace
To make you feel my love.

When the evening shadows and the stars appear,
And there is no one there to dry your tears,
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love.

I know you haven't made your mind up yet,
But I would never do you wrong.
I've known it from the moment that we met,
No doubt in my mind where you belong.

I'd go hungry; I'd go black and blue,
I'd go crawling down the avenue.
No, there's nothing that I wouldn't do
To make you feel my love.

The storms are raging on the rolling sea
And on the highway of regret.
Though winds of change are blowing wild and free,
You ain't seen nothing like me yet.

I could make you happy, make your dreams come true.
Nothing that I wouldn't do.
Go to the ends of the Earth for you,
To make you feel my love
To make you feel my love

Fixing a Broken heart

There was nothing to say the day you left
just filled a suitcase full of regrets
I hailed a taxi in the rain
Looking for some place to ease the pain,
Then like an answered prayer
I turned around and found you there

* You really know where to start
Fixing a broken heart
You  know what to do
Your emotional tools can`t cure any fool
Whose dreams have fallen apart
Fixing a broken heart

Now i could understand what I'm going through
There must be a plan that led me to you
Because the hurt just disappears
In every moment you are near, yeah
Just like an answered prayer
You make the loneliness easy to bear

* repeat

Soon the rain will stop falling baby
Let's I'll forget the past
'cause here we are at last

* repeat

My Bestfriend

All of these years i think that my very best friend is my childhood friend is really my best of friend but as we became older i realize that our interests is not compatible, well during high school we have our biggest  fight naahhhh i remember that day it was so very memorable for me.. haha she did choose her boyfriend instead of listening to me and to our other friends i know the guy is not really serious with her but she won't barely listen to me well after our graduation they broke up. but we did say sorry with each other. During my college life in manila i did took music major in voice performance i was new in there it was difficult at first but yet i did survive thanks God. I was also searching for a best friend but yet i failed. when i transferred here in Roxas city i did have lots of friends but only one person really stand out.. Our characters did match. LOL.. we become best friends during our 2nd year she's really sweet she's vocal and i liked it we always talk a lot one day she called me mommy being ahead with her its okay with me she's not just a friend nor a best friend and a sister and i treated her as my child we have lots of memorable moments together talking about our crushes, family problems, i did loved her so much. But one day things have changed and it did really break my heart i felt that she's not the same bhe-bhe, yah were still hang out but i really did feel that there's a gap between us i know what was the reason why did she do that, one day i decided to forsake her but when I'm home i cry a lot it's really breaking my heart its my fault also why did we end up hurting our selves. But now i am happy because were getting closer again  she greeted me at my birthday and she call me mommy and i was crying because i was really so happy.. Thanks Bhe you came in to my life.. i really love you as my best friend my sister and my child..
